I have lost count of how many turntables I own, more than 15 at least.

Couldn't resist when I saw this yesterday. Arrives Saturday.

    Granite plinth?

Wouldn't trust (what looks like) an Ikea table to take the weight

I'd be well chuffed with that turntable and arm, looks great.

I'd have to give some thought to the suspended floor though (but if it doesn't arrive until Saturday that's maybe a pic from the seller and not how you intend to use it?).

Either a concrete floor or fixed to a wall would be the focus for my thoughts. That would be a very seriously engineered wall bracket though.

You're halfway to a decent collection there...

“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

The Ikea table is not mine as I don't have it yet, it will go on a suitably robust rack.

Thinking of putting my DS Audio Master1 on it.

Sorry, wasn't being accusative, just concerned for the safety of that lovely 401.
