Default Gday from Melbourne land of the eternal lockdown!

    Greetings fellow audio enthusiasts 🙏

My name is Matt, I’m in my 40th lap around the sun and currently living in Melbourne Australia.

I am in the process of significant upgrades to my humble system, I am currently running

    Focal Electra 1027’s
    Rel t7i sub
    Harman kardon hk670 integrates amp
And the new boss in town - mcintosh c47 preamplifier!!!!

Excited about this journey taking on a whole new dimension now, so it’s mcintosh or bust for me !!! Also hoping to upgrade the Electra’s to sopra 2 or 3 in next few years (pending wife’s approval).

I love a wide variety of music from blues, rock, progressive metal, techno, Deep electronic (Trentemøller, Nicolas Jaar-esque) To hip hop, classical, acoustic, funk, soul... whatever sounds amazing and stirs me!

Thanks for having me and I hope to learn from the multitude of audio jedis out there 😛
    Cheers 🍻

    Welcome Mat,
Welcome to AoS. Melbourne does seems to be having a tough time unlike most of Oz. I can also highly recommend joining the Melbourne Audio Club (MAC). Pre covid they held regular meetings with talks, demos and trade releases. But the best part were the home meets themed around music genres. It was like an audio apprenticeship I learnt a lot from some very knowledgeable and friendly people.
Its also a great way of being exposed to different equipment.
    Hope you enjoy AoS.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
