    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Raining here. It was quite heavy an hour or so ago, but has eased off and now stopped.

    According to the forecast it should be raining heavily here right now. But it isn't.

    Looking ahead it starts raining again at 0500 tomorrow morning and doesn't stop until 2200 on Sunday. Lovely.

    Rained all day here. It eased up twice enough to walk the dog while it was just spitting (the rain that is, not the dog ).
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
