Crap Weather for October!

The Welsh would have come along with us to the Colonies.

Which colony might this be?

You need somewhere temperate and pleasant, no nasty diseases and dangerous wildlife or stuff like that. The Falklands is too small and the weather's crap, although I suspect the government may have it on their list of possible places to dump migrants, rather similar to the Scottish isles that are being considered.

The Azores would be great climate wise, but it's not ours (at the moment) and far too small. I suppose if the Spanish were here we could have their place, bit warm though and the streets need sweeping.

America's out, it's full of Americans. New Zealand is too close to the Antarctic and Australia won't do, too close to China and too much desert. So where else is there?

It's actually fine - where I am anyway. Bet it's colder in Stoke And besides, we have our 'real-wool fleeces' to keep us toasty!

I think some wishful thinking about hot climates, I take it those people have not spent much time in hot climates?

The UK has a moderate climate, not too hot and not too cold. I do find sunshine everyday very boring.

I could live in a hot climate but would rather stay here.

Not sure hot climates were mentioned. Wouldn't suit me, I don't like 'hot'. Don't do really cold too well either.

There are many derivations of the word across the world that have similarities.
