Been reasonably ok here today, dry with sunny spells, and it's still quite light even now... Anyway, got the log burner going and the candles lit, just enjoying a nice coffee with Del. who's cuddling her cat hot-water bottle in front of the fire - nice and cosy!
She's made a stew for later (slow-cooked shin of beef with Chianti wine), which has been on the go now for an hour and a half, I'll be enjoying it around 7pm (once the meat is gorgeously soft and succulent) with some polenta, the latter which she'll also be having along with some veggies.
Will probably partner it with a bottle of Barolo, then put a good movie on later. The winter nights aren't that bad, lol! Shame you can't join us, mate, although Del says hi
