    Gone are the days of me spending much dinero on wanky wires, but just wondering if one of these would make any difference.

    You might find it easier to use an IEC adapter as I have done - then the world is your lobster in terms of mains leads!

    + One for the Mark Grant cable they are as good as you will ever need with regard to build quality until you start to get in to the lunatic fringe.
