Default FS: Mains Extension Block 8-way

I decided some time ago, after experimenting with mains extensions that it was possible to make something of high spec using great components but without the ridiculous price of some on the market.

Seeing as my hifi has changed, I now don't need one of my blocks.

So, for sale, £225 delivered Mainland UK only....

    8 socket mains block.

Sockets are MK copper-plated switchless double sockets and FI-06(R) Furutech IEC inlet socket.

Inside each socket's L/N/E wires are all of equal length all going back to 3 heavy duty copper screw down terminals opposite the IEC inlet which are insulated with tape, then another wire runs the short distance across to the IEC socket from that same terminal.

The wire used were the three wires from inside Furutech FP-S20N mains cable.

Effectively all 3 wires are star wired with exact same lengths back to the same point. I have found star wire blocks complete with star wired earth wires to be the best performing mains blocks.

    PM me if interested.

(Tiny mark barely visible above the iec inlet on the white plastic, just mentioning although it is hardly noticeable really)

Now that’s the way to build a Mains block! The copper MK sockets are excellent! Well done, someone will surely benefit from this for sure!

Bump. Fantastic mains block that can draw a line under mains blocks in your system without spending ludicrous money on one at £500-£600 or more.
