    Edit: reply to Dave

Hope not, just getting annoyed by the same old presenters getting loads of money by being so "woke" (what a word )"right on" and politically correct.

mind you if it becomes a new bunch of presenters doing all the above then I will be really pissed off

Yes BBC Breakfast is impossible to watch when the screaming screechy thing is, well, screeching. Actually it's impossible to watch whoever is there when we ''wake up'' in the mornings.

Do they still do that? Last time I saw News At Ten it was still Trevor Mcdonald doing it. Just checked and he left in 2008.

Haven't watched breakfast telly in decades. I don't want to see anyone first thing - and that includes looking in the mirror. I used to start the day with radio, but I'm even too grumpy for that, so I just come on here to see what nonsense has been posted overnight. Lately the insomniacs have been notably absent

Nope, that's the reason they're doing it.
There is a gaping hole the size of a universe in the market for a news channel that isn’t left wing, Brexit hating and anti British.
One only has to look at the BBC’s handling of last night at the proms to see where their values lay.
As soon as the bias broadcasting company goes subscription only the better, and its not far off!
I mean, why does one have to pay the BBC to watch any live broadcast on any channel (including) YouTube even if one decides not to view any BBC content?
And if one doesn’t pay, and one views, then there’s the threat of imprisonment!
But hey, don’t forget that Gary Lineker earns £1.75M of your money and Zoe Ball has just had a near £1M pay rise because she’s female. Equality and all that.
Utter madness and well out of touch with the way people view their media these days.
Im just glad I cancelled my license ages ago.

Not sure whether it's racist to imply that Trevor McDonald is a talented dog

A mate did point out to me that the ITV Daytime News resembles 'Brass Eye' both in appearance and tone so I had to watch that. And in truth it's not far off.

Not missed not having a TV as such. So much negative shite on it, followed by endless repeats of negative shite.
