    Default Hello from Germany!

    Hi,

My name is Sascha, I am 47 years old and live in Germany, 40 kilometers near Frankfurt ......
It was 2006 when I returned to HiFi. Since then, many vintage devices have surfaced and many turntable projects have been completed. It was a fun time. Now I've (hopefully) completed my final project, a pair of active horn speakers. I hope to enjoy it for a long time.
I listen to a lot of different genres of music, mostly electronic, a little bit of jazz, hip hop, pop and blues.
I hope to come across a few interesting topics here and look forward to a nice exchange of experiences.

Here is an overview of my listening space.

    best regards from Germany
    Sascha

    Hello Sascha. Welcome to AOS.

Interesting looking system you have there. I do like big horns, they tend to add a bit of magic to the sound.

Join in the chat and get to know the members, they're a friendly bunch.

    Enjoy the forum,

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Thats a great looking system and room. Like how you have matched the speakers to the vintage furniture and the chair looks a dream place to listen to music from.

    Welcome to AoS Sascha,

Indeed a lovely looking (and I'm sure sounding) system. Love the Eames chair and footstool.

    Enjoy the Forum
