    Hey guys

    I'm Jeebsy from Glasgow, got a fairly modest setup but enjoying it thus far.

    Started with a NAD C320bee amp and Mission LX2 speakers using Spotify via Chromecast.

    Recently upgraded to Dali Oberon 3 but the extra bottom end caused mayhem in my room so added a Dirac Live processor, then a BK XLS200 sub, then upgraded the Chromecast to a Yamaha WXC50 streamer/preamp, then I started thinking about amp upgrades given the NAD was only being used a power amp in that setup.

    Spent a lot of time on this forum last week reading about Quads, so now I have a Quad 306 instead of the NAD!

    Pretty pleased with how it's sounding now but joined up to ask a few questions about Quad upgrades - seems a few folk on here have had theirs modded by Redhill and Fidele but trying to decide if it's worth doing their upgrades, or keeping it 'Quad'

    Hi William. Welcome to AOS.

    Plenty of info about on the Quad 306. The handiest mod is reducing the input sensitivity so the power amp is more suited to non Quad pre-amps.

    Anyway, join in the fun and get chatting with the members, they're a friendly bunch.
