    Due to their special sound characteristics they were mainly used in guitar amps, also in open air or concert amplification, but I agree that nice amps were also made using these tubes, however Audio Note Japan has not really used them up till now.
    Finally they decided to make an amp which the made to sound excellent.
    My comment was mainly focused on the excellent sound of this amplifier and to support its sales, rather then starting any arguments on the tubes or any other component used in this amp.

    Nice amp did you purchase it new? was it purchased in the Uk?. How long have you owned it for?.
