    I was going to suggest we just have a baking thread?
    Why not just incorporate all the Dark Arts?

    I’m putting my Banana Loaf on here, as it is a loaf!

    You might like this one Grant, I didn’t have any rum, so I’ve soaked/cooked the Sultanas in Tomatin CS




    Just waiting for me loaf to come out of the oven.

    Ooooo.that looks a bit nice too...and you could say it's Banana bread....the breadmaker does this sort of baking too....and you can even make jam....I don't think 2 threads are kneaded ...

    If you hand bake..all well and good...lets see it folks...if you machine bake, lets see that too...all breads no matter how they are made. Does anyone make pumpernickel bread.....really deep brown bread with pumpkin seeds....

    Oat and Linseed loaf...Wrights Bread mix idiot proof..add water and bake...It's just came out the machine and brushed with butter...I'll let it cool a while before I butter a slice..it smells fantastic...



    Edit...cut into it and buttered the crust..it's outstanding..lovely crisp crust and a soft crumb...delicious...
