Sounds great too and I’m totally settled on the vinyl side, in fact I’ve not bought any kit in ages, couple of spare cartridges and vinyl is all I’ve bought lately and not been posting much as I’ve just been listening, very happy bunny here
Good stuff, Mike. It looks great, and I'm sure sounds it, too

I've heard a lot of SP10s, similarly set up in slate plinths, so I know how good they are. Not sure I agree though on the looks of the 1210, as long as a) it's a 1210 MK5G (not a fan of the aesthetics of MK2s), b) the tonearm fitted suits it, aesthetically, and for me that means something Japanese with a detachable headshell [plus the fitting of an ebony armboard], and c) the horrible stock platter [how I hate strobe markings] is replaced with the likes of a Mike New one, with a decent mat on top...

That done, for me it looks pretty good [even better though with the pitch slide-control removed, and a plain top-plate]:

My QL-A7 before it disappeared into a cupboard. Should move it on really but it was my first 'proper' turntable, just don't have a use for it at the moment.
