Default Hello from The Vinyl Adventure

    Morning peeps,

    Greetings from me David.

Hamish who some of you may remember, relinquished control of The Vinyl Adventure some time ago and I now own/run it from my shop in Elland, West Yorkshire.

I am looking forward to contributing to AOS in a positive way.

Look out for our shop in the classifieds section opening soon.

    Welcome to AoS David.

I have indeed looked at your on-line shop, and you have some very 'droolable' items for sale there.

Would be interested in hearing about your system and of your tastes in music (other than T-Rex).

    Enjoy the Forum

Well it spans over 40 years as I am 57 now and started early!

Current system that I switch on each day after all the work has been done (shipping internet orders mostly) consists of an AMG Giro with Benz LP-S cartridge, many phono stages including Mr Gorhams ref model and a LAB12 Melto II, Kondo pre-amp and Kondo monoblocks, Maxonic field coil loudspeakers, various music servers (only listen to digital when forced to) and that all important audiophile essential a CHAIR. LOL

As I sell a lot of top end vinyl from mobile fidelity, analogue productions, impex etc I get first dibs on all the good stuff and have a wide taste in music, nothing is excluded as long as the sound quality is right.

How very dare you! Electric Warrior was my very first album - I bought a new copy a couple of years ago, and it still sounds great i suppose you were in the 'Slade camp' at school.

Oh and by the way David, "discount" means Lancashire folk get them free of charge Obvoiusly a small postage cost will apply

    Hi David. Welcome to AOS.

I shall be looking at what your shop has to offer.

    Enjoy yourself here,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
