Default Mission 773 MM cartridge - pleasantly surprised

I bought one of these in excellent condition for a miserly £20 on eBay to partner one of my Mission 774 arms. Not much info on them but I managed to find the specs on vinyl engine. It actually sounds very musical with fairly deep controlled bass, rich mids and zingy highs. What surprised me was how sensitive it is to VTF. The specs recommend 2 - 2.5g I was expecting not much difference between the lower and upper limits yet 2.3g is definitely the sweet spot. At 2.2 and 2.4 the life goes out of it. On the lookout for a 773 MC which I believe we're manufactured by Kiseki but can't find any info on who made the MM version.

I seem to remember that the Mission moving coils were high output carts and were light in weight. It's years since I used one on a 774 but well worth seeking out if you can.
