    Default Hi

Decided recently to build a Raspberry PI music server so I can play music in each room using old apple airports. Runs from the lounge with an Audiolab 8200CDQ and then to an ancient Crimson electric power amp and then to B&W 685 speakers and 2 airports in other rooms with local speakers.

    Hello Knox. Welcome to AOS.

The old Crimson amps were pretty decent, had one or two myself.

Anyway, join in the fun and get chatting, there's a lot going on.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Hi Knox and welcome.

The Apple AirPorts make multi room easy that’s for sure. I have a few knocking around so if you need an extra one, give me a yell.

    Welcome to AoS Knox.

Yes, Crimson Electric made some well regarded amps. What are your tastes in music?

    Enjoy the Forum
