Just finished making another pair of these Neotech NEI-3004 cables. They are made using PC-OCC wire becoming increasingly popular.

I've been trying different plugs with some fancy solder too. Rhodium plated RCA's and Mundorf 9.5% silver gold solder supreme.

The Rhodium plating makes them a bit more tricky to solder but it didn't take too long to get the hang of it. Just held the iron on it for a couple of seconds longer.

The plugs are designed to use screws for termination but I have soldered them and just put the screw in place anyway.

Shield connected at source end, so cables are directional. (They do sound better to me connected in this configuration). Heat shrink encases the plug and the screw on connector locks in place nicely. Cable relief on the plugs is very good too.

They sound right to me!
