    Default Outdoor speakers

Looking for recommendations for outdoor weatherproof speakers to be installed in our wooden gazebo ( see photos ).

I've been looking at the Polk Atrium series and also the Yamaha kit. I'll be running it from a Raspberry Pi/DAC/Amp with MoOde Audio setup direct to the speakers. We can receive WiFi down there no problem so that won't be an issue for the Pi once I enable the WiFi on it.

This is for low level to mid level listening as I'm very aware of not annoying our neighbours, although they won't mind as they have music outside too.

I already have a Sonos Play 3 but although they're ok for the bathroom say, it won't do outdoors permanently and I'm not a fan of the new Sonos App.

The third photo shows the roof space ( pre shingles) where I was thinking of mounting the speakers on the uprights pointing down towards the seated area obviously.

    Any thoughts on speakers?

Ages ago, I bought a pair of these from Costco, pretty good for their size.

We have a very similar structure here in our garden in France. Driven by an RPi and an IQAudio DAC/Amp, I have mounted a pair of Pioneer 6.5" car speakers on A3 size plywood panels (effectively OB speakers). They've been in use for 18 months now, in all weathers and are still working fine. From memory they were approx £35 the pair, and are surprisingly effective.
