    Tannoy i6AW speakers have plastic cabinets and are designed for outdoor use (the AW stands for 'all weather' I believe). In standard form they are a bit coloured and underdamped, but a decent chunk of poly foam sorts that. Last pair I picked up were about £60. Very nice mids and treble on them, the driver is a similar dual concentric to the unit in the quite sought after System 600. They go surprisingly loud!
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
