Pair available to import here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jantzen-A...8AAOSwW4hcdXfv

Smaller wire gauge, but that won't hurt.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Well that’s a saving over the £100 from a well known component supplier.
What does an inductor coil actually do ?

It has rising resistance to rising frequencies.. Basically it rolls the signal off, either on its own at 6db/oct or in circuit with capacitors for a steeper slope.
