    Default Miyajima ETR-Stereo SUT

The Miyajima ETR-Stereo Step-Up Transformer is certainly the most flexible SUT on the market, accomodating all gain and loading requirements for any moving coil cartridge, whilst including a 'by-pass' mode for when using moving magnet cartridges.

Bought new last year, this is a top-class performer, and is in immaculate condition with all packaging, etc.

For sale at £1750 incl. UK delivery.

The SUT is easy to use. Step one is to set the second knob to match the cartridge's DC resistance value (see attached photo, left hand column). The desired gain is then set with the third knob (second and third columns). The loading can then be set with the fourth knob (5th to 10th columns). This SUT can accomodate everything from an ultra-low output Io (0.05 mV) through all 'normal' cartridges, right up to high output mc cartridges of 1.5mV. Swiss army knife, as they say.

Other features include a demagnetizer facility and an adjustable capacitance loading for mc cartridges suffering from 'ringing'. I never felt the need for the latter, and set the left hand knob to the zero position.

Superb bit of kit for those that like to swap cartridges around.
