    Not checked the temperature, but it seems less chilly. Probably 'cos we now have cloud cover and the wind has died down. I expect that means rain is coming.

    Absolutely foul the past couple of days - fence down in the gales (luckily the neighbourís boundary and looks like it has been hanging on by the skin of its teeth for a while) and didnít stop raining at all yesterday. Hoping tomorrow is a little better as hoping to go to an American car show in the village and ogle some Mustangs etc.

    Frost on the car yesterday morning, actual ice this morning. But cloudless sky and no wind. Still some heat in that sun, even at this time One thing with the chilly mornings, the air doesn't hold much moisture. So could see the Scafell range in Lake District from down here, clear as anything, and that's got to be 70 miles away.
