Default Recommendations for floor standing speakers £1k approx

    Hi all,

I am looking for some floorstanders to partner a DAC / 100w Class D amp. Budget is around £1k give or take and for a mid sized room in a flat.

Any recommendations? I would prefer new or fairly new to save a few quid.

Music styles are rock, electronic and jazz.

    Many thanks in advance
    Jonathan

I’ve got a pair of Neat Iota Alpha I could let go for under budget.
They maybe tiny but sound much bigger, and not that fussy about placement. Ideal for mid size rooms.
Pm me for details if interested.

Not sure whether I missed a trick with the Meadowlarks, they may be impressive. However I saw a pair of Neat Motive SE2s at a good price and went for them. Hope this is the right decision!

I had a pair of SE2s for 4 or 5 years and they are great speakers for their size.

I listen to a lot of electronic and rock (plus other stuff) and they performed really well with them

I am sure that you will enjoy them.
