Thread: AT ART9 or Hana ML?

    Not unless they've used them with the same deck, tonearm and phono stage as the OP. There are too many variables but having heard both, I feel the Art is much better in outright quality.
    Main system: Sony TTS8000; AT1010; Audio Technica Art1; The Lentek; Cambridge 851n, Yamaha NS1000.

    According to the AT website the ART 9 is discontinued and is replaced by the AT-ART9XI, which for ease of mounting has threaded mounts. Price is increased from £900 to £1,299.99. That's quite a hike for a couple of threads which the original should have had to start with.

    Art9 without question. I am near retirement so I bought another to keep me in analogue heaven till......

    I prefer my ML over my AT-OC9XSH.

    Not heard the ML but am currently using the Hana SL in preference to my AT33EV, the Hana is quite an improvement! In every way.
