    +1 for the Audiolab 6000CDT. I've just brought one and am thoroughly pleased with it. Step up from the Rega CD player it's replacing.

    I was going to suggest any of the Pioneer VRDS models, or a Teac if you can find one at a good price. Seriously good transports, and fed to any half-decent DAC they’ll produce an amazing sound.
