    Default Hello from Italy

    Hello folks,

happy to join this forum. I'm here to learn and share the very little I may know. As English is not my mother tongue, please be patient with me.

Being a long time audio nut, many components have settled at my home: so much so, one day I'll make a big clearout sale. Either that, or my heirs will have to hire a VERY big truck to clear my basement.

Over the years I owned speakers ranging from Rogers ls3/5a to Audiostatic 600.

    my current system is Gryphon preamp +krell ksa100 /Quad 303 + Quad 2905

Uh, did I mentioned approx. 5500 LPs?

    So that's all.

    Ciao,
    Armando

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Welcome to AoS Armando.

5,500 LPs - wow, how do you know where to begin? Only joking of course, I'm most envious. What are your tastes in music?

    Enjoy the Forum

    Hi guys,

thank you all for the warm welcome. The large number of LPs is mostly due to the fact that I listen to several musical genres, from baroque to jazz, from classical to rock. And the advent of CD: what a wonderful opportunity to buy tons of LPs for pennies!! A lot of people wanted the "perfection " of CDs and gave away their LPs. And who was I to argue? I guess some of you around here took that chance as well...

I am happy to join this forum,

    Armando
