“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".
“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

What style are you looking for? Leather strap or metal bracelet? Diver's style or more dressy? Size wise large 43-45mm or smaller?
I have a number of watches I'm looking to move on, if you give me an idea of what you're looking for I'll see if I've got one that'll fit the bill.
I have this one on ebay at the moment, Seiko movement but maybe not to everyone's taste. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283988882720

Hi Roy
I prefer leather strap, Diver/everyday wear rather than a dress watch and medium sized so a classic style reserved rather than flashy. If you have something that you think may suit pm me for my email address.

Hi Nat, sorry to hear about your misfortune, I’ve got a Citizen eco drive 43mm men’s chronograph with all the original packaging and manuals, powered by solar, bought in February 2016 so still within its 5 year warranty but I guess as it’s all metal it’s of no use.
