    Default new/used amp

    Hello everyone
i have recently bought Wharfedale linton heritage speakers and am now looking for an amp. I am happy to buy used and have about £800.00 to spend .I mainly listen to Blues,Acoustic guitar,rock,folk/punk.
I am thinking maybe a valve amp but are there better matchess for my speakers . I listen to spotify through a caimen seg dac and also vinyl through Thorens TD150
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Audiolab 6000 is good with Lintons, if you find the pairing too rich I’d try a Rega Elex-R with them, both great amps.

Elex-R and Lintons should be excellent together I would think, it’s a real toe tapper of an amp which is what the Lintons thrive on.

Creek Evolution or Exposure would be good too.

Do you need an integrated amp?
I have a nice pair of Firebottle Hybrid mono blocks that should work nicely with the Lintons.

the firebottle amps are valve and solid state hybrids , very powerful neutral sound . of course one would need a pre amp which might make the budget over . sounded very near the naim supernait 2 in my system with a modest schiit pre amp

aside from the arcam . leema make good integrateds one good one here from a great guy

and silver mark one here , these are very good, lovely organic sound .
