Hey, new poster here but far from new to all the various forums. My system consists of mostly DIY components. Pre-amp is an Aikido 24v using 6GM8 tubes, Amp is/was an ST-70 that is modded to use 6B4G DHTs and with a Curcio driver board, speakers are DIY Proac 2.5 clones, turntable is a tweaked Rega Planar 3 from the '80s with an Ortofon Quintet Blue cartridge and Grace 707 tonearm, Pre-pre is SUT based, phono pre is a Schitt Mani. Current DAC is an RPi with an Allo Boss HAT. My only special cables are the silver DIY ones that I made about a year ago and these are just phenomenal. I'm using Qobuz and Audirvana on my iMac to feed the DAC over DLNA and wifi. It all works and sounds great.
