Nearly new Audiolab 8300XP power amp in black for sale.

140 wpc @ 8 ohm, RCA and balanced XLR inputs and can be bridged via a rear mount switch to make a 480w monoblock.

This was bought through my local dealer and shipped direct to me from IAG on 26th March this year, so just over 4 months old, remainder of warranty applies.

Only selling as I’ve recently splurged on a big McIntosh.

It’s a classic design based on a substantial power supply using a chunky toroidal transformer with dual secondary windings, 40 000uF of Elna capacitors per channel and big Sanken output transistors which are known for their musicality.

It is cool in use with no excess heat generated, no mains hum and has a very low noise, quiet background.

Immediate impressions are of a toe tapping, satisfying, enjoyable presentation that focuses on making music out of all recordings with effortless power delivery.

General consensus is that it’s a match for amps at twice the price or more which I have to agree with, it sounds like a proper big power amp should with poise, power and control.

As far as I can see it is completely unmarked and in as new condition as I look after my stuff and it has no bad smells! Comes complete with all packaging, box, manual, mains lead and mini jack cable for remote triggering from a preamp or source.
