Crap Weather for August

34 today and been same hot, humid, sticky tropical heat. Been like it for almost a week now plus hot sticky nights on end.

Working from home has been hard in this heat and humidity, like working in a sauna. Difficult to be productive when you feel sapped of energy and I've usually got tons of that.

We're all more than ready for a drop in temp and some rain to clear the air, here in my household, that's for sure. When there's been no respite, you want and need an ease

Well it's just done that here now with a MASSIVE thunderstorm!! Like the biggest drum kit you've ever heard was fixed to the sky - with the rain lashing down! And it's SO much cooler now... Down from 32C this afternoon, to 20C!!!!

THANK CHRIST - I can BREATHE AGAIN....!! We've got the backdoor wide open, along with the windows in the lounge, and sitting in the middle, allowing the lovely, refreshing cool breeze, to get into all the (naked) crevices

And..... As a BERTIE BONUS, I might even get some sleep tonight!!!!
