    Default FS : Tnt Triple Speaker Cables 4m Pair

    I spent quite a few days making these some years ago. TNT Triple T Speaker cables.

    Project Info Here...

    http://www.venhaus1.com/diycatfivecables.html

    13 twisted pairs per conductor (26 solid core wires each) so very chunky !!

    Looking for £40 just to cover some of material costs... 100m reel of wire, the 8 gold plated connectors and the 16m of flexible sleeving used. Postage should be about £5 by regular mail or arrange your own collection.

    Colour coded gold plated banana plugs and spades, sorry not a great photo as you cannot see them properly. They look much better in flesh.

    4m stereo pair (ie 4 lengths in total).

    I have a shorter 2m pair on my own system and not likely to need these longer ones now. These better many high end speaker cables if you read feedback on the net of those that have made them.

    Capacitance = 175pf for each 4m pair (44pf/m)
    Inductance = Too low to measure

    Would these be OK for a KT88 based valve amp with 4 & 8ohm taps? I'm not familiar with how capacitance would affect this...

    Wavy grooves go thru a RigB 540ML on an SL1500C. Digits stream from a cheapie CDP and a Sonos, into a Yamaha 803D driving Kralk Audio little 'uns. I used to have a Linn but I'm better now.

    They'd be fine.Both David and I have used these with several valve amps.

    I used mine initially on a KAT88 from WAD. I am not sure why that site says the capacitance is high as they seem comparable and less than other commercial cables. Maybe someone can measure their 'brand' cable for comparison. I think you need flat type cables for even lower C.

    Default speaker cable

    Hi,I have to report these cables are far better than what I was using before which,was of course wet string.seriously they sound superb on the almarro amp.

    Don't need any Tannoys - I've got the best. All cables supplied by pound shop or better.
