Now that's more like it. Lovely machine, and in that condition worth the asking price.

(However, IMO, no tape machine can be considered to be of studio quality, if it sports 'crappy' RCA phono connectors. )

Barry the Tascam BR20 has XLRs and RCAs so can be used for domestic or professional use
The operating level for the BR20 is +4dB (1.23V) and this machine it a BR-20T so its a time code machine meant for synchronisation in a recording studio
I own quite a few BR-20s and can assure you they are a seriously good Tape machine

I was being a bit sarcastic, hence my " ". However I know of no professional tape machine (such as Studer, Telefunken, Nagra etc.) that are fitted with RCAs.

You should be sorting out that arm.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
