I semi-retired here before Brexit made it hard/impossible to do so.

I've been more than happy listening to an RPi/NAS/DAC/Amp system for more than a few years, but I've recently inherited a large vinyl collection, which played a big part in my childhood and formative years.

I am trying to decide whether to listen to them as they are, or convert them into FLAC files; either way I'll need a turntable and a phono stage. I'm also considering an RCM before I do anything.

I guess, therefore, I'll be searching and reading a lot of threads whilst asking a few questions before I'm able to contribute.

Whatever way this progresses, I'm glad to be here!
