I was tempted but its well outside my budget and getting down to London to collect is a challenge. Covid risk looks to be cancelling my month in the islands and Highlands which might free up some time to research 686 build, think i can stretch to £2k
You might struggle at the price. It costs 500 more than that for parts alone in a mono build . Maybe try a standard build with smps as that can be built around the 2k budget?? My father in law has one now and it’s very close indeed.
All I can say is that after some weeks and hours of playtime I couldn’t even listen to my crofts anymore . They sounded broken haha. Like I had a quilt over the speakers. The 686 is in another league. The crofts are now gone
