    Hi Ian,

I don't know if it will run JRiver, I've never tried it.
I'll check and get back to you

    Cheers

    Hi Ian,

After a bit of research on the Qnap and Jriver forums it would appear that Jriver is no longer supported on Qnap (or Synology).

If its any help to you all I do is map my music folder on the NAS to the network and use my Cambridge CXN V2 to access the files
    for playing.

    Regards

    Glen

Glen. If all you need is more space, why don't you keep this NAS and replace the hard drives with larger disks?

    Hi Rob,
Upgrading the drives was my original intention but then I was given an empty 4 bay NAS.
I already have one spare 2TB hdd so decided to sell this one to fund the purchase of 3 more 2 TB HDDs.

    Regards
    Glen

That make a lot of sense. Good luck with the sale.

I was interested but I've already got about 4Tb of music and I've got another 6-800 CDs to rip. I'll need 8Tb in total with photos so wasn't sure whether to buy 2 HDDs and this or just wait for a big one to come up.
