    My very old Lowthers were rated at six watts and worked happily on the end of a 220 watt mosfet power amp.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    If you're paying per valve watt then it can be too powerful

    Still looking for something close to my budget, needs 3 inputs.

    Hi Mike, have you considered adding a simple 3 input passive like a s/h tisbury ? Amps with multiple inputs tend to be a bit more pricey.
    I use a glasshouse passive with a single input valve amp to good effect.

    My valve amp now is operating ok and sounding sweet, but not so good with the scratchy kind of 60s rock i like, so on the lookout for something suitable for that, and i'll just have 2 amps on my stand. An old Exposure integrated may'be?
