Thanks, saw this a few days ago but it's the non-headphone socket version and I still haven't got to the point where I ignore my wife's 'too many black boxes' voice in my head!

I just picked up a Rega Mira for a good price so have a chance to play with an older but I suspect very similar 'House Sound' amplifier and I've banked a little wedge which helps currently.

Its a win win mate and you will appreciate the Brio.
