    I'm Paul.

Default FS : Magnetic Drive turntable ( Nu Magrotor )

    Sold

I have been the guardian of this extraordinary turntable for about 5 years now but the time has finally come where it needs a new one. It was bought in sad circumstances due to the passing of a wonderful chap who owned it, Ian, & so I bought it from his family through a friend, Wayne, who helped them move his hifi gear on. My reason for selling it is due to downsizing within the mext 6 months so plenty of time to find a buyer.

There is a history behind it but I will not go into detail, needless to say any interested parties can ask me questions via PM only & we can correspond via email to save cluttering the thread up.

    Brief description.

3 motor belt drive sub platter with intermediate Magnetic drive platter.

PSU / 33/45 RPM speed controller / On Off switch.

    Multi adjustable turntable & stand.

2 swing arms for multiple arms.

Metal / acrylic design & construction.

Record clamp with outer platter ring.

The unit splits down into component form for transportation but it weights in at 120kgs in total, the granite slabs help spread the footprint load, they will be provided. The arm fitted is a Rega RB300 with a Denon DL110 MC cartridge, this can go with the turntable or if not required £250 will be deducted from the sale price. An SME arm plate is provided in the basic architecture to allow fitment of what it surely deserves, I had an RB700 & a Michell Tecnoarm on it but have swopped this out now to the RB300.

I will consider a part exchange with cash my way on either of the following :

Rega P8 or Rega P10 with or without cartridge.

    Focal 1038BE speakers.

For obvious reasons it is collection only, I am in Merseyside, full address details will only be given to potential buyers on receipt of a large deposit to show intent.

Photos below, fire away with any questions only via PM please :

    Now updated with direct photos.

What a wonderful looking turntable, I bet it sound superb too, looks like Audio Al could not resist. If I had the money I would have been visiting you.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
