Been a scorcher all day... Just back from Chester where at one point it hit 24C. Had a gorgeous lunch at 1539 (will post pics later on the food thread), done some shopping in town, where it was pretty busy - lots of folk milling around, which was nice to see, plus also not too many shops closed down.
Then popped to the garden centre on the way back and got some nice plants for the front of the house and some night lights for our backyard eating area, as it's nice to chill there, even when it gets dark, and enjoy a glass or two of vino
Anyway, it was really great getting out again and seeing something different from the same four walls and garden for the last 4 months, which drives you bloody bonkers!

Beautiful warm sunny day here in London.
Since the easing of the lockdown, I(we) have become a bit of a boulevardier eating out for lunch and then later having a drink al fresco, whilst doing the crossword and watching the world go by.
Today we had lunch at what is becoming our favourite Israeli eatery: Ronis in West Hampstead (https://www.ronisonline.co.uk/), then later, a couple of glasses of chilled rosé at Tannin & Oak (http://www.tanninandoak.com/).
