Default Help need for old Punk Rock Power Pop Fan

    Hi,

I'm in Dublin, Ireland. I'm trying to set up a new system to free 8TB worth of Aiff files using what I've picked up over the years.

I need to get a new AV receiver/Amplifier as old one blew.

I have the following equipment in a Music Room that will not be part of new set up. What I plan is for TV/Living Room for family use linking iPads iPhones etc I have an Apple Music family subscription and have not the time or energy to re rip cd collection so it is staying AIFF.

Hi Fi Music Room (Staying as Is)

    Turntable

    Linn AXIS Turntable

    Amplifier

    NAD Stereo Amplifier 3130

    Tuner (Never Used)

    NAD Stereo Tuner 4220

    Speakers

    NAD 8020e BOOKSHELF

    WHAT I NEED ADVICE/HELP WITH!!!!!

joining all this up via AV to stream files via Mac mini and play Vinyl and utilise the older stuff.

Sony TV (two HDMI one is ARC)
    Oppo BlueRay 103BDP https://www.avforums.com/reviews/opp...er-review.9821
    Apple Mini Mac
    Toshiba VHS/DVD/HDD recorder - Toshiba VHS/DVD/Hard Drive Recorder RDXV60 https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/82854778
    Apple TV
    Project Debut 3 Turntable
    Cambridge Audio Phono Pre-amp

    THANKS

    Philip

    Hello Philip. Welcome to AOS.

If you need info on streaming, I'd suggest starting a thread in the Digital Expressions section and asking any questions you may have.

Join in the chat anyway and get to know the members, they're all friendly.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
