it was a strange night with Scotland by far and away the better team for most of the 90 minutes, with some great performances. It’s always emotional when Scotland are involved, especially for us who are older and remember when we used to qualify all the time.

I am still recovering from that momentous scrap last night.
I was pondering those moments when the little teams surprise you. Might Scotland win the Euros?
Denmark and Greece surprised us with Euro wins.
England, and I checked, have never made the Final of the Euros.
My view is that to stand a chance, you need three outstanding players.
A very calm temperament and a team that keeps its shape and tactical plan despite the odd moment of bad luck.
When Bobby Charlton whacked in another goal, you didn't see him fist-pump.
He just turned round and ran back to the centre-circle for the next kick-off.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty with Egypt. A lot of these tests seem to happen when abroad on international duty.
Pool dont have their troubles to seek, and this will mean he is unavailable i guess for a few games. wont do city any harm, or leicester who are their next opponents
