I think you can beat Croatia and the Czech Republic at Hampden. You won't beat us, but should make the next round.

You have to give him credit. And I just wish Celtic had signed Marshall in the summer, when they had the chance, instead of Barkas!

Anyway, that's 22 years of pain over!!

i had no problem with Griif taking a penalty always though he would score. Delighted with the result, stating the obvious Croatia are the the top team in the group, not England.

Lol - realistically we've no chance, but at least we'll be there. And TBH, as massive underdogs we'll have nothing to lose. Far better being in a group like that, than with 'diddy teams' we're expected to pump! That *always* ends badly.

Everything else looks fairly predictable.

Scotland have to get past Croatia, who are a tougher proposition than Serbia IMO. But home advantage will help.

Very nice that the Taffs and Jocks are there. Maybe it's coming home.

I think England have got to be one of the genuine favourites this time, and could well win it. For me, they'll be there or thereabouts. Minimum the semis.

If we can get out of our group it'll not only be a miracle, but the greatest ever achievement in Scottish international football. But if anyone can do it, it'll be Stevie Clarke! You can really see now the benefits of his influence. And by then, we'll hopefully have all of our best players properly match fit, especially Griffo hopefully firing on all cylinders.

On top form, he's defo our best striker, especially at set plays, and could be set to have a major influence on Scotland's fortunes. Unfortunately, Rangers have too many foreigners in key positions. Midfield and upfront, I can see the Celtic connection paying dividends, just like it did tonight! Christie is a class act, and for me doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

We are not expecting Scotland or Wales to win the Euros.

I am not sure I fancy England either. Jamie Vardy has a dead eye in front of goal. Harry Kane is the guy for Penalties. Marcus Rashford has a sound first touch and cross.

Best footballers I ever saw were Pele, Eusebio, and Bobby Charlton.
