2-0 in the end... Did what we needed to do in the first half, then just cruised the game after that, no doubt with a view to preserving tired legs after the team's exertions in Europe on Thursday night.
You can also see the difference now we're getting some players back and more match fit. Edouard's still got a bit to go yet, but he's getting there, as is the team as a whole, although we're still badly missing the likes of Jullien, Ajer and Forrest. Wouldn't anyone?
However, a much better performance, also with a badly needed clean sheet, which will do the confidence of the defence, and particularly Shane Duffy (who had a good game) the world of good! So.... Into the final against Hearts, which will be a hard game, even though they're now a Championship side, BUT - the quadruple treble is still ON!
TBH, and I mean this, I'd settle for securing the quadruple treble this season, *if* Rangers win the league by simply being the better and more consistent team, in which case, albeit reluctantly, I'd doff my hat and say 'Well done'. Why? Because, there's every bit as little chance of anyone ever winning another QT, as there is another 9 or 10 in a row!
Therefore, having already achieved 'two nines', if we end up missing out on a historic 10, but secure the QT, then that would still go into the history books as a phenomenal achievement. One thing's for sure, despite the UTTER SHITE that's been written recently in the press and social media, touting for Lenny to be sacked [I'd love to have slapped the c*nts responsible silly], which was just fucking ridiculous, LENNY IS GOING NOWHERE!!
