Back to winning ways for us too, with a convincing 3-0 win, and much needed 3 points, against Motherwell - and with an unchanged side too, the same as which lost midweek in Europe! Now *that* was brave...

Shows that Lenny was convinced in it being the best formation, based on the current unfit state of our strikers, and if you score three goals (could've been more) without a recognised striker, then I guess he's been vindicated, especially as although we narrowly lost on Wednesday night, the team played pretty well, creating plenty of chances without being able to convert them.

We had 70% possession and 26 shots on target, but sadly only one goal to show for it! Hey ho...

However, I still feel that Klimala, at least, should be starting, and I don't really understand why he isn't getting that chance. He certainly won't get any more match fit sitting on the bench!

Great to see Ajeti though, coming on again and scoring... He's probably due at least a full 45 mins in the next game against Ross County, after the international break, although Edouard should be fit by then, but I don't rule out Lennon going with two up front, which is exactly why Ajeti was signed, as a partner for Edouard, while Griffo is sorting himself out...

I stand by my prediction though, in that Ajeti will be a sensation this season, especially now with the arrival of Turnbull!

Still need to sign a centre half, though, so hopefully some business in that respect will be completed this week.

Didn’t watch the game, so cant really comment only just read the BBC report, no shots on target for most of the first half and Kilmala coming on at half time, at least you had a striker on the pitch. But a decent win and 3 points.

...except for a superb goal from Forrest, which hit the back of the net, after great interplay between him and McGregor - arguably a candidate for goal of the season!

But yes, I take your point - aside from that, an entertaining first half it wasn't. Klimala, Ajeti and Frimpong coming on though in the second half made all the difference. Klimala was put through on goal and had his shot well saved, and Forrest hit the bar, so it could've been more - and all achieved without our star striker.

That'll do for now, and with Griffo back in training I don't think it'll be long before he returns to the action... So four top strikers to choose from, two of which I'm certain will be playing together soon after the international break [we're much more potent as an attacking force that way], and I predict we'll kick on from there, after a somewhat mediocre start to the season!

As they say, it's not how you start, but how you finish...
