Indeed, and as soon as I saw that, I feared the worst! Yes, Edouard was unfortunately injured, but Lennon still had two strikers available to him, so why didn't he use one of them?

Ok, Ajeti has just joined and needs game time, but Klimala's played enough football and looked good in the games where he's featured, so IMO he should've started! I like Lennon and think that overall he's done a great job as Celtic manager - save, however, for his record so far in CL qualifiers, and in those games being punished for making, let's call it. 'unorthodox' team selections.

He did it against Cluj, and was punished for it, and he did it tonight and suffered the same fate. Also, Celtic are always at the 'coo's arse', in terms of getting players in SWIFTLY that they badly need during transfer windows, and ensuring that they start these (very important) qualifying matches with as strong a team as possible, no glaring weaknesses and no 'square pegs in round holes' - but that NEVER seems to happen!

It's been obvious since this season started that we needed a replacement centre half for Simunovic, who left during the summer, but did we get one in on time to start these important games? No, did we fuck! So once again we paid the price, as it's been patently obvious that we weren't strong enough at the back, and that Julien and Ajer needed help from a big, strong and commanding centre half.

That was a glaring error, and every season it's becoming a bad habit. Lessons not properly learned from mistakes made! Anyway, we'll lick our wounds and look forward to joining you guys in the Europa League, where hopefully there we can do Scotland proud

I’m not sure about the selection again, last year it was Mcgregor at full back this time no Centre forward with 2 on the bench , between them they should have managed 90 minutes.

Europa league is where we will be hopefully all the Scottish teams will make some decent progress.

I agree, big time that we need defenders more, and I suspect some will arrive, but there's all sorts of crap going on there at the moment!
