As I used live in Bournemouth I have always followed their us and downs, Eddie Howe was very much the next big thing but struggled bit in his last year in charge.
I think he will do well at Celtic although hopefully not too well, similar to Brendan Rogers in style of play.

Will be interesting to see his support staff, doubt he will be in before the end of the season though.

Eddie Howe should do a good job, as long as the pressure doesnt get to him too early. Much will be down to whoever comes in as director of football i think and how quickly and how well they start getting the right players in. Maybe keeping a few on the staff too with his appointment, or at least getting good value. Celtic traditionally gett better cash for players than we do.

Scottish cup will no doubt be down to who wants it most and who plays best too. Howe may come in early too. it would be odd if he doesnt unless its a financial thing re his last payoff

Yups... It was mostly what you thought of the cup tie. Howe in or not, I think it'll be quite a different game from the recent league encounter. This time both teams will be better, and both will want it.

Last time, I think Rangers were tired from their exertions in Europe, so not at their best, and Celtic saw it as a bit of a 'nothing game', but this one will be different. I still don't think Kennedy is the long-term answer, but he's made us much more solid defensively and also has the team playing at a higher tempo.

I know it was only Falkirk, but some of our passing movements, high pressing and general all-round play was breathtaking. We just need to get a bit more cutting edge up front, when our strikers (Edouard aside) get more match fit. We really need to play with two up front to achieve that quickly. The return of Forrest is also a big boost, as he's been badly missed, and gives us more penetration up front.

And you guys also still seem to be firing on all cylinders, so it'll be very interesting!

Yup, that's what I'd heard, Robin. Time will tell though, if indeed he is the man. I'm glad to see back of Hammond, though, as he was responsible for us signing some rather expensive duds, which IMO was a major reason why we lost the title. Your team's recruitment was a zillion times better!

So what's your view of the cup tie? Shame the two teams are meeting so early or not?

Yes, a pity the teams are meeting so early , at the moment we are probably favorites, but that means nothing in old firm games.

think celtic will be my favs, as their cup record is much better. home advantage doesnt help much without fans etc. also they will want to show something to fans and new manager etc.

Interesting result today for us against Livi, but one based on current performances I could see coming... I'd expect your lot to cuff Hibs tomorrow, and set up an intriguing battle in the Scottish Cup, whenever that game's played, due to some 99-year old bloke, living in a palace, having the temerity to pop his clogs....

Good win yesterday for Celtic, will start thinking about that game after the Hibs match

relatively poor overall performance with a few good spells.. 2-1 it finished and the points more important on day. still fancy celtic for the next meeting, but of course its difficult to predict.
at times rangers are very good, but in others they are struggling a bit too. just glad the league has been put to bed early

Not a great display today, looked weak down the left side hopefully will be better for next week. Great goal by Kent though.
