Fair enough, I didn't know that. Wouldn't bother me one iota though, as I'm not the 'bitter' type. If anything, it would probably encourage him more to beat them (often the case with these things, witness Alex Ferguson loving doing so to Rangers, as Aberdeen manager), as first and foremost [in terms of mentality] Lampard's a winner.
A 'Lampard vs. Gerrard' old-firm battle would be mouth-watering, and generate MAJOR interest from down south in particular!!

I don't really know much about the bloke, although folks rave about him - what's he done/won that's so special?
I know what you mean, re: Lampard, about sections of the Celtic support, and that would put extra pressure on him to be successful, so I get that, but all it would take would be to beat Rangers a few times, to erode the notion of being a 'hun lover'.
In any case, I don't think he'll end up being the guy to replace Lennon.

Yeah, I heard that, but rightly or wrongly that doesn't really excite me (success with a diddy team), in comparison with the likes of Martinez or Rafa. Might be great, though. But does his style of football fit with the Celtic philosophy (exciting and attack-minded)? Different ball game (literally) between fighting relegation battles and regularly winning trophies.
Slavia Prague? Interesting... They pumped us, when we were pish, but you should have the tools to beat them. Dangerous side on the counter attack, so watch out for that

That’s not the worst draw for us although they did beat Leicester fairly easily last night.
As for the Celtic job, wont be Moyes, he’s going nowhere, extremely unlikely to be Lampard, or Steve Clarke as he has stated he doesn’t want involved in all that nonsense that surrounds the Old Firm.
THe Celtic board have history of thinking outside the box, so it might be another foreign manager.
