    Hi Dave,

Have you checked that they're not registered on the likes of Just Eat or Deliveroo? Here: https://www.just-eat.co.uk/ or here: https://deliveroo.co.uk/

Even though takeaways don't have their own drivers, they'll often use those of the above. Just pop in your post code and see - you may even find other curry houses in your area who do deliver, but that you weren't aware of.

However, if you have to collect, then the same rules apply now as going to a supermarket.

    Marco.

If only. We are out in the sticks and Deliveroo or Just Eat doesn't exist.

We have a couple of fish n chip shops, pizza places which deliver but that's it. There are a couple of Indian restaurants closer, which will deliver but their food is nowhere near as good as the one we have to drive 20 minutes to.

I thought if we just eat the hot food and not the salad they supply plus tip the food out of the containers and wash hands, that should do it. Is that OK ?

I guess you could chuck the lot in your microwave for a few seconds if you're that worried.

It's our first meal not cooked at home and as I am supposed to be 'shielding' it is a worry. Microwave it is then.

If you tip out the food when you get home, then chuck away the packaging and wash your hands, I expect you'd be ok. Maybe even give the stuff a bit of reheating in the microwave to get it nice and hot. I'd forget about the salad - I've been dodging it all my life, never did me any harm

We had Indian delivered last night, more than me and Mrs. P could manage, for £18. We gave delivery driver £20, told him to keep the change. He was made up, and we didn't have to deal with his pestilent pocket change.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.
