    I'm Peter.

    Default Stepped Attenuator ( Preamp)

    This is a Talema 4 channel, 128-step attenuator 'pre-amp'.
Remote control has functions for: on-off; channel select; volume; mute; and display brightness.
This one has the higher-spec transformer (230V) and performs perfectly.
Compact size: 220(w)x230(d)x60(h) mm. No mains lead was supplied (packaging has no room for one).
Imported by me from China, it cost around £160 after duties, etc.
Nice bit of kit. Selling for £90 plus delivery.

I use one on the AV system, they work very well. They have very good transparency.
Useful having a mute button as well. GLWS.

    Hi Peter,
I've heard and used Alan's example, nice, useful thing to have in the cupboard. I'll take it please if it is still available.

    Cheers, Ian
